two Research Groups


We seek talented, dynamic, independent, and motivated scientists early in his/her career to establish two research groups, one at IIMCB in Warsaw, the other at MPI-HLR in Bad Nauheim. Successful candidates will develop independent research programs using their own budgets, which will fund research positions, consumables, and equipment. The successful candidates will have outstanding scientific track records with clear evidence of leadership, and a strong interest in animal models of human diseases, particularly in zebrafish (for a position in Warsaw) or molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases (for a position in Bad Nauheim).
Initial appointments of group leaders are for five years with the possibility of extension after international review. For more general information please see also:

IIMCB in Warsaw is one of the most modern country´s research institutes in its field. The Institute’s research topics cover the wide spectrum of protein structural biology, bioinformatics/computer modelling, protein and organellar biogenesis, neurobiology, cancer biology and cell biology. MPI-HLR in Bad Nauheim hosts 4 departments and several independent research groups and is committed to understand the mechanisms of cardiopulmonary development, diseases and regeneration at the molecular level. The environment of both institutes is international and the working language is English. Each of the institutes is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and excellent core facilities, mutually available for both groups. The institutes provide outstanding research opportunities for their scientists.
